In Hebrews 8:10 says For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people. This is clearly a symbol. Which meant engraving God's Law in your actions and in your thoughts. In Exodus 13:9 it says And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord’s law may be in thy mouth for with a strong hand hath the Lord brought thee out of Egypt. And in Exodus 13:16 it says And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes for by strength of hand the Lord brought us forth out of Egypt. This was the Hebrew way of saying that God's Law would be close to you. Solomon put it this way in Proverbs 3:3 which says Let not mercy and truth forsake thee bind them about thy neck write them upon the table of thine heart. Here he was talking about the principles of mercy and truth which was a figure of speech or symbol because literally you can't tie mercy around your neck. When you read in Genesis 4:15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him., Cain sinned by breaking God's law because he would not worship the way God told him to worship by sacrificing a lamb but he did it his own way and he got angry and killed his brother. There was a disagreement over worship and a eventually a mark was placed on Cain. Cain did not have a computer chip or a tatoo placed on his forehead. But there were some distinguishing differences that future generations would see about Cain in his actions.

Look at what it says in Revelation 7:2-3 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God : and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Everybody is got something in their foreheads, the mystery harlot in Revelation 17 has a whole paragraph in her forehead. And you will not find a woman in the last days having a paragraph in her forehead, but it is a symbol for the apostate church. Ezekiel 9:3-4 says And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side ; and the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. This is a saving mark seen by God. In the last days if we have the law of God in our actions and thought will be a good mark for us. This is connected with worshipping God and the ten commandments. So you understand that a mark of the beast is not literal but a figure of speech.
